Eight months after he lost the title, Ace Romero will get his first chance to regain it against current titleholder Channing Thomas at Limitless Wrestling’s Fresh Blood.
The event is set for Saturday, October 28th at 7:30 PM EST at the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine. Tickets are on sale now but if you can’t be there live, watch it on IWTV with a subscription.
This will be their first-ever one-on-one match in Limitless. Thomas will be looking to extend a nine-match unbeaten streak in singles action dating back to October 2022.
Romero returned to Limitless at last month’s 8th Anniversary Show in surprise fashion, destroying the championship celebration that Thomas and manager Sidney Bakabella had put together. He wanted his shot that night, but Bakabella declined as the two left enraged.
Romero hadn’t been seen since losing the Limitless title at March’s Reasonable Doubt in a three-way that saw Big Beef leave with the title.
It will be Thomas’ first title defense since the shocking events of August’s Vacationland Cup that saw him both win the tournament and the title at the end of the night.
