Alec Price vs. Jay Malachi IWTV title match set for Limitless Wrestling's Fresh Blood

By Josh Nason

Alec Price will welcome the debuting Jay Malachi to Limitless Wrestling’s Fresh Blood with Price’s IWTV Independent Wrestling title on the line.

The event is set for Saturday, October 28th at 7:30 PM EST at the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine. Tickets are on sale now but if you can’t be there live, watch it on IWTV with a subscription. More than half the building is sold out already, so if you’re coming, buy your tickets already.

Price, the former Limitless Wrestling World Champion, will be gunning for the sixth defense of the gold he won from Matt Tremont this past August. Price is coming off a successful defense over past Limitless competitor Brian Milonas at a recent Beyond show.

In Malachi, he faces not just a challenger but the reigning and defending Deadlock Pro World Champion. In a similar fashion to Channing Thomas’ Vacationland Cup win and subsequent Limitless World title win, the 19-year-old prodigy defeated recent Limitless competitor Lucky Ali for the title in September after winning the Carolina Classic Tournament minutes earlier. He scored his first title defense this past weekend against another recent Limitless wrestler in Jordan Oliver.

These two have shared the ring once before at an April DPW show in a three-way with Jackson Drake that Malachi won. Now Malachi will look to leave Yarmouth with a second title around his waist in his first-ever Limitless match.

However, Price was brought to a knee after his loss to Dezmond Cole in a Last Man Standing match at last month’s 8th Anniversary Show and won’t want to leave Yarmouth with a loss for the second straight month. A win over Malachi also could put him in conversation for a DPW title shot down the line.

Be there live in person as they go one-on-one for the first time.
