Alec Price vs. Kevin Blackwood first time ever set for Limitless Wrestling's Vacationland Cup

By Josh Nason

Following his physical win over Joey Janela in their first-ever clash at July’s Crunch Time, former Limitless Wrestling World Champion Alec Price will take another step toward a title match as he faces the returning Kevin Blackwood at this month’s Vacationland Cup.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 26th at the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine. Tickets are available now with the show streaming on IWTV for subscribers.

While they have shared the ring before, this will be their first time ever in a singles match and with major stakes: in the first round of the VLC tournament to crown the title challenger at September’s anniversary show.

Price has been on a run since returning to Limitless in December — months after losing the title to Ace Romero last September. With wins over Mike McCarthy, Dezmond Cole, Judas Icarus and Janela, the growing indie star is in prime position to get back to the title.

In his way is the hard-hitting Blackwood who returns for the first time since December 31st’s Limitless show as part of Wrestival when he lost to Anthony Henry — his first match back in 11 months. Since moving to the West Coast, Blackwood has been seen everywhere including NJPW America, AEW, PWG, Prestige, DEFY and West Coast Pro Wrestling. He now gets to show to the Yarmouth faithful how much he has learned since his last appearance in January 2022.

Big stakes and two hard-hitting talents who want a championship. LFG, friends.
