In what promises to be a match of the year candidate, former Limitless World Champion Alec Price will take on former TNA X-Division Champion and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush at Limitless Wrestling’s Bitter Taste.
The event is set for Saturday, February 24th at the famed AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine, at 7:30 PM EST. Tickets are on sale now with 50% already sold out.
Price hasn’t been seen since losing to Dezmond Cole in a Last Man Standing match at last September’s 8th Anniversary Show. He failed in his opportunity to earn a title shot at the previous month’s Vacationland Cup and now needs to restart his climb back to title contention.
This will be Rush’s first match in Limitless since April 2017’s Can We Kick It? when he defeated current AEW wrestler John Silver. One of the fastest talents in the game, Rush’s resume is long: WWE, AEW, GCW, MLW, NJPW and more at just 29 years old.
These two have done battle once before, squaring off at a Beyond Wrestling event in January 2023. A lot has happened in a year and both will be looking to make their first Limitless match of 2024 an important one.
