Bitter Taste notes: Megan Bayne making Limitless Wrestling debut

By Josh Nason

“The Megasus” is heading to Limitless Wrestling.

Fresh off a six-month run in Stardom, Megan Bayne will make her long-awaited debut in Yarmouth, Maine, this Saturday as part of Bitter Taste — set for the Yarmouth AmVets at 7:30 PM Eastern.

The show is sold out, but you can watch everything live on IWTV. Use the code "Limitless” if you’re not a subscriber as it helps out the promotion.

Aside from winning a championship, Bayne did it all in Stardom, competing for both the World of Stardom title and the Artist of Stardom trios titles. She also battled Giulia for the NJPW Strong Women’s title in late-December, but was unable to take it home.

Before that, she kept a busy schedule in the early-part of 2023 after returning from an injury that kept her out most of 2022. Before heading to Japan, she took on Limitless talents like Anthony Greene, Aaron Rourke, and B3CCA.

The AEW-signed talent will now look to make her own collision this Saturday, but who against?

Bitter Taste will also feature the return of both Gabby Forza and Ricky Smokes.

Forza made her second Limitless appearance in January, teaming with the aforementioned Rourke against the impromptu team of Ava Everett & Smokes. The former ARTE members couldn’t get along and Smokes eventually walked out, leaving Forza and Rourke alone with Everett. Forza got the pin on Everett to gain a measure of revenge from December’s Force of Nature.

Smokes returned after the match to nail Rourke with a chair shot — one that required Rourke to get assistance from Limitless personnel in order to get to the back. Smokes is still in search of his first Limitless singles win since July 2022’s Crunch Time.

The opponents for either have yet to be announced.

Bayne won’t be the only debuting female talent as The Bratz will make their debut as a team.

Paris Von Dale & Shannon LeVangie make up The Bratz — two names familiar to Limitless and Let’s Wrestle fans. LeVangie has appeared once for Limitless, losing to Ava Everett at April 2022’s Hard Not to Act Reckless while PVD was a frequent part of The Road series during the pandemic, causing issues with Armani Kayos.

Who do they have targeted? Unless your tickets are already bought, you’ll have to watch on IWTV to find out.
